2017 came with a lot of amazing beauty products. From makeup to skin care and hair, 12/10 products seemed to be a common theme. Here are a few of mine that I fell in love with!

TARTE SHAPE TAPE

My shade: light neutral

I was a little late to the party on this product but none the less, it is truly the best concealer I have ever used. I naturally have dark and sunken in under eyes, so finding the perfect concealer has always been a struggle. I finally purchased this from Ulta and I will now never go without it!! Tarte also just came out with shape tape foundation which from what I’ve heard, is bomb.

WET N WILD PHOTOFOCUS FOUNDATION

My shade: golden beige

I was introduced to this foundation by one of my favorite YouTubers, Casey Holmes. I could not believe that this foundation was only $5 and being raved about by so many in the beauty community. This foundation gives a great velvet matte finish and lasts for so long! I barely get oily in it which is definitely foreign for me. Definitely give this foundation a try!

MAC PIGMENTS

My favorite shade: tan

This year I was all about loose pigments. A sparkly lid and matte crease is what I lived for. Always wet your brush before applying so then the color is vibrant and the amount of fallout is decreased. For a night out, pigments are definitely the way to go in my book.

THE BALM HIGHLIGHTER

I originally received the Kuwakaribisha highlighter sample in my monthly Ipsy subscription . This highlighter is one of the most pigmented highlighters I have ever used. It is only available in The Balm Voyage Vol. 2 face palette but I recently received another highlighter from The Balm which is also great if you don’t want to purchase the full palette.

IT COSMETICS CC CREAM

My shade: light

When I am not feeling a full coverage look, this product has been my go to. Again, I received a sample in my monthly Ipsy subscription and finally realized the hype. I love this product because for an everyday look, my skin still looks like MY skin, not a Snapchat filter. I have yet to buy the full-sized product, but it will sure be on my list next time I hit up Ulta.

BATH & BODY WORKS ARGAN BODY CREAM

I’ve always been big in to Bath & Body Works, but as I became older it was harder for my to find scents that weren’t too juvenile. The argan collection that Bath & Body works was the answer to my prayers. This line of smells like the perfect big girl lotion. It’s the kind of smell you would say wow to when someone walks past. I did hear from a worker that this collection is limited edition and will not be permanent so go grab it while you can!

NEON & CO TREATMENT OIL

I sound like a broken record but this is another amazing product that I discovered in my Ipsy bag (sponsor me??). I have always been 110% against hair oils. I have the thinnest hair ever that gets greasy by touching it about once with freshly washed hands. It is seriously the worst. The packaging said the oil was light enough for fine hair so I said, “why the heck not” and gave it a try. I was shocked. My hair was so shiny and healthy and did not look greasy what so ever. I highly recommend this to anyone with fine hair especially! I will definitely be purchasing the full size once I run out of this God sent product.

SEBASTIAN SHAPER PLUS HAIRSPRAY

This hairspray is truly indestructible. On any given day that I curl my hair, I know my curls are locked and loaded when I use this hairspray. It keeps my hair tamed all day without making it crunchy which is so gross and super 80s. A huge shout out to my mom for introducing me to this miracle worker!
