It has been a hot minute since I have done a fashion post! Getting back into the swing of things at school has taken a while, but I am finally on a regular schedule again. Taking pictures for the blog has been difficult too, but luckily my good friend Jordan has been able to take some BOMB pictures for me:) THANK YOU, JORDAN!!

This look screams Pinterest to me. Every time I look through my feed all I see is gingham and neck scarves. I am absolutely loving both trends as well as throwing some suede into the mix. Luckily, the warmer Kentucky weather has allowed me to keep wearing skirts without tights for a couple more weeks!

Usually it’s pretty hard to wear brown and black together but since the base of the outfit is black & white, throwing this camel suede jacket over it makes perfect sense. Wearing a lighter camel brown opposed to a dark chocolate-brown helps the black and brown combination be more cohesive with each other. My gingham skirt was an absolute steal and I know I can wear it all year round by switching out my tops! The neck scarf and skirt add a retro vibe to the outfit which I am very much into. I’m hoping to add to my collection of neck scarfs since they are soooo easy to throw on with a T-shirt like the one I am wearing and a pair of jeans!

I cannot wait to be back in Chicago for Thanksgiving and to spend some time with my family! Hoping I will be able to get some more content up here soon but until then…

XOXO,

Kristina
